Very nice place to stay in the Garden District. The room we had was clean and laid out nicely with room to put our things down, sit down, hang clothes (decent size closet) and a nice bathroom with great water pressure! Jill was very accommodating to ensure we had everything we needed, including holding our luggage on our last day in NOLA as we had a night flight home. Location: this was key for us as the Garden District is outside the Quarter and thus we felt we were able to escape back to a quieter part of town after enjoying NOLA. The other great thing about the location is that you are very close to the great restaurants along Magazine Street. Highly recommend the Chimes!

The Chimes is a wonderful alternative to staying in a big, impersonal hotel. Located in a charming residential neighborhood uptown, The Chimes is ideally situated to provide you with a quiet haven to return to after a day of exploring New …

We spent 3 nights at The Chimes and fell immediately in love with this place. It is nice, neat and beautifully decorated with an absolutely welcoming and warm atmosphere. Located in a quiet neighbourhood it is perfect if you look for an individuel stay in Nola. With streetcar station, shops and restaurants in walking distance, you won't need a car. Breakfast options are absolutely delicious! Booking and communication are smooth and easy. We enjoyed our stay very much and would come back any time. Dear Jill and Charles, thank you very much for your hospitality and making the Chimes a home away from home for us. Linda, Jakob & Ruben

I spent a night at Chimes while on a road trip and am sorry I didn't have time to stay longer. It's in the heart of Touro, a neighborhood I can't recommend highly enough. The area is walkable and full of great places to eat. The owners of Chimes are genuinely friendly and made me feel welcome. My room was lovely. The beautiful four poster bed with an incredibly comfortable mattress and the spacious bathroom were difficult to leave behind. I'll definitely stay here again the next time I'm in New Orleans.

Beautiful room, extremely comfortable bed, great breakfasts ( loved all—eggs or Avocado toast or pastry tray! Almond croissants-yum!) perfect location near Magazine St shops and restaurants and also near the St Charles streetcar! Jill and Charles offer. Amazing hospitality-WONDERFUL!

Chimes B&B was the perfect home base for our anniversary trip to New Orleans. The room was comfortable and well appointed, and the two courtyards offered private space for relaxation. One great benefit was the location--halfway between St. Charles Avenue, where you can jump on the streetcar, and Magazine Street, where you can jump on the bus. (There are also lots of dining options in the neighborhood, and the hosts offer a curated list.) Maybe the nicest thing was how quiet the property was--blissfully quiet after a Saints game and several visits to Frenchmen Street. We really looked forward to the sound of the windchimes as we walked down from the streetcar stop.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Chimes BnB. Located in the Garden District, two blocks from the St Charles streetcar, four blocks from Magazine Street. Many restaurants and shops nearby. A nice break from the Quarter. Our hosts were a pleasure, and quick to reply to any requests. Our room was immaculate, and tastefully decorated, and very homey. It was a perfect stay for our Mother Daughter weekend. Thank you!
